Below you will find an "expect better" reading list.  There's too much at stake to make decisions about your baby's one-and-only birth to just go along with the birth someone else may expect you to have. An asterisk (*) marks books that I feel are must-reads.  Two asterisks (**) mark books that are must-reads that I also have copies of to lend to my students.  Books are listed in alphabetical order by author's last name.
