decided to do a Hypnobabies script with me before things got
going, my nerves were a bit on end and I was still feeling
unsure of things and we thought this might help, we put on
the Heart of Reiki music and she began reading, I also
remember that at some point the lights were dimmed and the
nurses began to whisper this was wonderful as things that I
had asked to happen in my birth plan were being played out
without me even having to ask, this meant so much to me!
Laura's voice is also very calming and easy to listen to and
because of this I fell into a deep relaxation very quickly
and very easily, I could hear the nurses coming and going

Lund was my hypno-doula at my son's birth in February of
2005. She was fantastic! Doing some fear-release exercises
before and re-scripting a previous birth both were
invaluable in making my feel prepared and excited about my
birth instead of apprehensive.
During my labor Laura came early on to help me get in the
right mind-set by doing exercises and scripts with me. I
felt in control and at peace during my entire labor and
birthing experience (SO different from my previous birth
experiences). She has a wonderfully pleasant and calming
voice and manner and was very professional yet relaxed. My
husband felt comfortable around her and never felt
supplanted by her. She made sure that he was as involved as
he wanted to be.
 She
made sure that I was all set after my baby was born before
she left and she checked on me in the days following as
well.
I plan on having
her as my doula again (if she wants too) when we are
expecting again.

Laura was the doula-extraordinaire! It was this woman's 4th
baby, but first attempt at an unmedicated birth. She was
induced because of some preeclampsia issues, but she was
able to have the dignity and respect of those who cared for
her and she ultimately got the birth she wanted. Laura did a
terrific job of support, unending patience and guidance, and
it couldn't have been done without her. For most of the day
of induction, it was a party and we all sat around joking,
telling stories, and watching some pretty funny British
sit-coms! When the rubber met the road, we all pulled

husband caught the baby and all were glowing afterwards. It
